I wrote this poem back when Gitmo opened, but it's as relevant today as it was back then.
Another Bush blunder that continues to rear its ugly head, kinda like Scalia. Republicans
only worry about the constitution when it serves their purpose.

 

Habeas Corpse

 

Everyone is shocked

Shocked the court

Would allow Gitmo prisoners

The right to a trial.

Where do they get

These ideas?

Much better to let

Them die in the fluid

Cuban sun, guilty

Or not, no concern

To millionaire radio

Hacks and talk show

Charlatans. The Constitution

Has such a left wing bias.
