The Army You Have
Not the one you always wanted
A disappointing present on Christmas Day
The one you end up with
Wheels falling off
Treads derailed
And missing parts .
They are doing miraculous things these days
Putting bodies back together
Fluids can be drained and refilled
The smashed cat like eyes of an SUV
Patched with duct tape
Always remembering the bottom line
Christmas comes but once a year.
